The University Center of Maghnia witnessed today, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the launch of the activities of the hybrid national seminar titled:
Financial Inclusion Mechanisms as a Means to Combat Poverty and Enhance Economic Growth in Developing Countries: Between Digital Challenges and Developmental Aspirations,” organized by the Institute of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences.
The scientific event opened with a welcoming speech by the Director of the University Center of Maghnia, Professor Kadri Ryadh, who emphasized the importance of the seminar's theme in light of current economic challenges, praising the university's role in supporting national development paths. This was followed by speeches from the Director of the Institute of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences and the Seminar Chair, both of whom reviewed the seminar's scientific objectives and the expected outcomes of its findings.
The first day was characterized by intensive scientific sessions and valuable presentations delivered by professors and researchers from various national universities (both in-person and remotely). The discussions highlighted digital transformation mechanisms and their role in enhancing financial inclusion to support vulnerable groups and stimulate economic growth in developing countries.
A moment of appreciation and gratitude
In a gracious gesture reflecting a culture of academic loyalty, the first day’s activities featured a tribute to the distinguished professor, Bounoua Choaib from the University of Tlemcen, in recognition of his illustrious scientific career and his continuous contributions to scientific research and future generations.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants and researchers, especially those who traveled long distances to join us at this scientific gathering. We also highly value the efforts of the organizing committee, the scientific committee, and everyone who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event.
The seminar sessions will continue tomorrow, Thursday, April 23, to complete the remaining themes.
