The National Seminar titled: "Psychological Treatments"

The National Seminar titled: "Psychological Treatments" was held on June 5-6, 2024. It was organized by the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University Centre of Maghnia, in partnership with the Research Centre in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC) in Oran.  The conference activities commenced at the plaza of the University Centre of Maghnia, where saplings were planted in observance of World Environment Day. This initiative is a tradition upheld by the University Centre in an effort to support the slogan A Green Algeria

 Immediately following, the official opening of the conference took place in the Conference Hall with a speech by the Director of the University Centre, Professor Mourad Naoum. He welcomed the distinguished figures in the field of psychology attending from across the country, most notably Professor Ben Abdellah and Professor Badra Mimouni, who delivered an elegant keynote lecture covering psychological treatments in both general and precise detail. In his address, he praised the tremendous achievements of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences under the leadership of its director, Dr. Hamra Hosni.

 This was followed by the first session, chaired by Professor Zerouali Latifa, where a series of pioneering research papers were discussed, bridging the gap between clinical and academic perspectives on psychotherapy. Additionally, three workshops and discussion groups were held across the university center, each managed by a group of expert research professors. The activities continued into the second day, concluding at 14:00 with a set of recommendations and findings, as well as the future prospects envisioned from organizing this national seminar.
