Criminal Evidence Between Traditional Rules and Modern Methods and Its Impact on Judicial Conviction and the Future Horizons of Criminal Justice
Today, Sunday, April 13, 2025, the Institute of Law and Political Science at the University Centre of Maghnia organized a national seminar (both in-person and virtual) titled: "Criminal Evidence Between Traditional Rules and Modern Methods: Their Impact on Judicial Conviction and the Future Horizons of Criminal Justice." The seminar was chaired by Dr. Benouda Saliha.
-The scientific event was launched under the supervision of Professor Kadri Riadh, Acting Director of the University Centre of Maghnia, with the attendance and participation of representatives from the Regional Division of the National Gendarmerie of Tlemcen, the National Security Directorate of Tlemcen, and the Rehabilitation Institution of Tlemcen.
In his address, he noted the significance of this national seminar as a practical embodiment of the university's openness to its economic and social environment. He emphasized the promotion of cooperation, partnership, and the exchange of ideas within a sophisticated scientific and research atmosphere that serves the public interest. He extended a warm welcome to the guests and the university community, expressing his gratitude to the administrative staff, professors, students, and clubs for their dedicated efforts in making this national seminar a success.
– The national seminar was held in a hybrid format (both in-person and remotely). On the first day, presenters were distributed across three in-person sessions and four remote sessions. The interventions focused on the theme of criminal evidence between traditional rules and modern methods, and its impact on judicial conviction and the future horizons of criminal justice.
– The national seminar continues for its second day, April 14, 2025, following the same format (both in-person and remotely). Everyone is welcome.
