The Role of Scientific Research in Drug Prevention

The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University Centre of Maghnia organized a study day on Monday, May 6, 2024, chaired by Dr. Abdelilah Bencherki. The event, titled 'The Role of Scientific Research in Drug Prevention,' took place in the Conference Hall (Phase 2) starting at 09:30 AM.

Subsequently, Professor Mourad Naoum, Director of the University Centre of Maghnia, delivered the opening speech. He welcomed the attendees, professors, and researchers participating in the study day, emphasizing the event's scientific value in bringing together various scholars and researchers from social, legal, and economic fields. Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to the institute's administrative staff, and through them to all the faculty members, as well as the scientific and organizing committees, for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the success of this study day
 Following this, Dr. Hamra Hossni, Director of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered a welcoming speech addressed to all attendees and participants in the activities of this study day, wishing everyone continued success. He emphasized the significance of this event, which aims to support students' knowledge, raise their awareness, provide guidance, and facilitate the exchange of information and expertise among researchers
Subsequently, Dr. Bencherki Abdelilah, Chair of the study day, delivered his intervention, expressing his gratitude and deep thanks to all the participants and the audience for their engagement with the program. He noted that the event was enriched with valuable presentations spanning social, psychological, legal, religious, and economic dimensions, through which the speakers sought to bridge the gap between theory and practice. He then officially announced the commencement of the study day's proceedings
 The speakers then began presenting their interventions, which were distributed across four sessions and featured the participation of 25 professors and researchers from both within and outside the University Centre of Maghnia. These presentations sparked engaging interactions among the attendees, fostering an atmosphere of purposeful academic discussion and dialogue
 The study day's activities concluded that same evening, with the presentation of a set of findings and recommendations reached by the participating professors and researchers.
