Objectives

Achieving significant levels of economic development is accomplished through training specialists in the field of business administration who are capable of efficiently managing physical and human capital and ensuring the effective use of resources using modern management methods. It also involves training economic researchers to solve problems related to the optimal use of resources, which ensures the best performance for institutions and the economy as a whole. The general objectives of this training can be summarized as follows:

-جعل الطلبة يختارون مسالك التكوين الدائمة لقدراتهم وحسب رغباتهم.

-التحكم في الأدوات الاقتصادية والتقنية المتخصصة في تسيير المؤسسات ت.

-تطوير المعارف في ميادين التخطيط الا ستراتيج ي، إدارة الموارد البشرية وإدارة الإنتاج.

-القدرة على استعاب وتطبيق بعض الدفاىيم الاقتصادية والإدارية في مجال إدارة الأعمال.

Targeted Audience

The Master's program in Business Administration accepts students holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration who wish to pursue their studies in this field, driven by their interest in continuing their academic path and exploring everything related to the management of private and public institutions and administrations.

Students with degrees from the previous classical system can enter the second year of the Business Administration specialization.

Admission Requirements

The University Centre of Maghnia offers the opportunity to enroll in its undergraduate programs (Bachelor's degree) for various categories of both Algerian and international students, in accordance with the applicable regulatory terms and conditions:

  1. High School Graduates (Baccalaureate Holders) Prospective students holding a Bachelor’s degree (Baccalaureate) or an equivalent international qualification may apply according to the criteria and procedures updated annually by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  2. Holders of Prior University Degrees (Classic System)

Candidates seeking to advance their studies or specialize further may apply based on available pedagogical capacity and ministerial guidelines. This includes:

  • Holders of Prior University Degrees License degree (Classic System).
  • Holders of the DEUABaccalaureate + 3 years Classic System)
  1. Second Degree Candidates

Students who already hold a university degree may apply for a second degree programsubject to seat availability and specific departmental requirements

  1. International Students ("Study in Algeria" Program)

UCM warmly welcomes international applicants. Admission is granted based on the following:

  • The candidate must hold a degree in Baccalaureate degree or an internationally recognized equivalent
  • Registration via the official ""Study in Algeria"" (Study in Algeria).
  • Prior attainment of an Equivalence Certificate from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Important Notes Regarding Tuition Fees:

  • Tuition-Free: Education is free for Algerian residents and international students receiving official scholarships from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education
  • Fee-Paying: International students under the "Study in Algeria" program (non-scholarship) are subject to annual fees fees covering tuition, accommodation, and catering, determined by current regulatory decrees.
Structure and Organization of the Training Programme

Training in the Master's of Business Administration at the Institute of Economic and Management Sciences follows the following model:

  • First-year Master's:

First Semester: Enabling students to acquire advanced knowledge in financial management.

Semester TwoFocusing on developing students' concepts regarding resource planning, innovation and creativity management, business intelligence, organizational competitiveness, etc.

  • Second-year Master's:

First Semester: Deepening concepts related to financial management in all its forms, while also emphasizing the legal aspects of management within organizations.

Semester TwoStudents are given the opportunity to begin preparing their Master's graduation thesis.

Targeted Knowledge

The Master's in Business Administration (MBA) aims to build a significant knowledge base for the student through:

  • The ability to use quantitative techniques to solve management problems within institutions.
  • Deepening the student's knowledge regarding organization and human resource management.
  •  Equipping the student with strategic planning and production management techniques.
  • Enabling the student to prepare a Master's thesis on a research topic to consolidate previous knowledge and integrate practical field applications.

This specialization is essential for developing high-quality personnel specialized in business administration, proficient in managing and directing projects and institutions. It provides students with the most important modern trends in this field to keep pace with environmental developments and transformations at both local and international levels. This is achieved by introducing students to practical methods and practices used within organizations and providing them with applied and field experience, enabling quick integration into the labor market

Internships and supervised projects in the third year of the Bachelor's degree and the second year of the Master's degree represent a pivotal stage mandatory They aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, through which the student acquires Practical skills and knowledge in-depth knowledge by implementing scientific methodologies within the work environment, and developing professional competencies such as real-world problem-solving and effective project management

Alongside it, stands out Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE) As a strategic link for developing students' entrepreneurial skills, in partnership with the National Entrepreneurship Support and Development Agency (NESDA), it focuses on practical training and technical mentorship.
