Official Duties
The Secretary General of the University Centre is responsible for:
– Overseeing the management of the professional career paths of the university centre’s staff.
– Preparing the draft budget of the university centre and monitoring its implementation.
– Overseeing the proper functioning of the shared technical services.
– Ensuring the monitoring of funding for research activities of research units and laboratories.
– Proposing cultural and sports activity programs and promoting them, etc.
– Ensuring the monitoring and coordination of the university centre’s internal security plans.
– Overseeing the provision of supplies to the university centre’s directorate structures. and services
common technical services with operational means and maintenance of movable property
and not movable
– Overseeing the updating of inventory records.
– Overseeing the preservation of the university centre’s archives.
The Secretary General, to whom the Internal Security Office is attached, is assisted by:
– Deputy Director of Personnel, Training, and Cultural & Sports Activities
– Deputy Director of Budget, Accounting, and Resources
Duties of the Deputy Director of Personnel, Training, and Cultural & Sports Activities are :
– Ensuring the management of the professional career paths of the university centre staff
– Implementing training programs, skill enhancement, and knowledge renewal for administrative staff, technicians, and service agents.
– Ensuring the management of staff numbers and overseeing their balanced distribution among the institutes.
– Preparing the human resources management plan and putting it into effect.
– Implementing cultural and sports activity programs.
He is assisted by:
– Head of the Faculty Staff Service
– Head of the Administrative, Technical, and Service Staff Service
– Head of the Training and Professional Development Service
– Head of the Cultural and Sports Activities Service
Duties of the Deputy Director of Budget, Accounting, and Resources:
– Preparing the draft budget of the university center.
– Ensuring the execution of the budget.
– Preparing the operating credit delegations for the institute directors and ensuring their execution is monitored.
– Updating the accounting records of the university centre.
– Monitoring the funding of research activities for laboratories and research units.
– Ensuring the preservation and management of the university centre’s archives.
– Updating inventory records and ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of movable and immovable property.
He is assisted by:
– Head of the Budget and Research Activities Funding Service
– Head of the Accounting, Management Control, and Contracts Service
– Head of the Logistics, Inventory, and Archives Service
– Head of the Hygiene and Maintenance Service
