National Meeting on the Role of Artificial Intelligence

In a move to bolster the integration of artificial intelligence within Algerian universities and to support researchers and students with innovative projects, a national meeting on the role of AI was convened on Tuesday evening via video conference. The meeting was chaired by the national coordinator, Professor Iman Ben Makhlouf, and held under the supervision of Professor Ahmed Mir, head of the National Coordination Committee for Monitoring Innovation and University Business Incubators, with the participation of Dr Khedim Farah representing the University Center of Maghnia.

The agenda of the meeting included:

Reviewing and commending the completed works.

Emphasizing the importance of strengthening inter-university cooperation to exchange experiences and unify efforts.

Providing support and training for individuals with innovative projects.

Developing a specialized program to qualify trainers in the field of artificial intelligence.

Unifying visions and defining common work axes to support the digital transformation of Algerian universities, in collaboration with various newly established bodies.
