Study Day: Legal Protection of the Right to Health

Organized by the Institute of Law and Political Science the University Centre of Maghnia, The activities of the study day titled: "Legal Protection of the Right to Health" commenced today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the Conference Hall.
– استهل اليوم الدراسي بكلمة افتتاحية من قبل البروفيسور مراد نعوم، مدير المركز الجامعي مغنية، الذي أثنى من خلالها على رئيسة اليوم الدراسي الدكتورة المر سهام، واللجنتين العلمية والتنظيمية، للجهود المبذولة في سبيل إنجاح فعاليات اليوم الدراسي، مشيراً في ذات الوقت إلى أهمية الموضوع، لا سيما وأنه يرتبط بأحد الحقوق الجوهرية ألا وهو الحق في الصحة.
The study day commenced with an opening speech by Professor Mourad Naoum, Director of the University Centre of Maghnia. He praised the chair of the study day, Dr. El Mour Siham, as well as the scientific and organizing committees, for their efforts in ensuring the success of the event. He also highlighted the significance of the topic, noting its direct connection to a fundamental human right: the right to health.
– Following this, Dr. Bouzidi Ilyas, Director of the Institute of Law and Political Science, took the floor. He expressed his gratitude and thanks to the chair of the study day, as well as the members of the scientific and organizing committees, the institute's professors, and all the participants. He commended their collective efforts in making the event a success, wishing them continued prosperity and success.
– Subsequently, Dr. El Mer Siham, the chair of the study day, delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees. She highlighted the significance of the theme, its objectives, and the main pillars it addresses, noting that this topic is part of a PRFU research project. She also expressed her gratitude to the members of the scientific and organizing committees, as well as all participating professors and researchers, expressing her hope that the study day would meet everyone's expectations.
– Immediately following this, the study day was officially opened. Participating professors and researchers began delivering their presentations, which were organized across five sessions, featuring a blend of both in-person and remote interventions.
– A high-level academic atmosphere prevailed among the attendees and speakers, characterized by purposeful scientific discussions. Consequently, the participants concluded the event with a series of findings and recommendations.
