Evaluation Session

    Dr. Mohammed Amine Bouterfas, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Center (EDC) at the University Centre of Maghnia, participated alongside Mr. Mohamemd Amine Djelmoudi, Director of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA) for the Tlemcen Province, in the national sessions held to evaluate and enhance the performance of Entrepreneurship Development Centers. These sessions were conducted within the framework of the Regional Conference of Universities of Western Algeria.

    The event was hosted at the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed (Belgaïd), under the supervision of Professor Ahmed Chaalal, President of the Regional Conference of Universities of the West. The session was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises. Also in attendance were directors of NESDA agencies, trainers, project holders, and members of the National Committee for the Follow-up of Innovation and University Entrepreneurship.
    The event's activities launched at the Regional Conference in Sétif and concluded with the Regional Conference of Universities of the West in Oran. The closing was held in the presence of the National Coordinator, Professor Shahinez Taleb, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises.

     The meeting featured simultaneous workshops supervised by members of the National Coordinating Committee for the Follow-up of Innovation and University Business Incubators, covering the following themes:

Workshop 1: Training Manual Content and Duration
-- Evaluating the quality of training programs and their effectiveness in meeting the needs of student entrepreneurs.
-- Discussing proposals to optimize the duration of the training period.
Workshop 2: The Transition Process from Project to Micro-Enterprise
-- Analyzing administrative and financial challenges within the transition process.
Workshop 3: Physical and Human Resources
-- Assessing the infrastructure and human resource capabilities of the centers.
    The sessions resulted in several outcomes, including recommendations and proposals that will be submitted to both ministries.
    This meeting took place within the framework of strengthening cooperation between various stakeholders in the university and entrepreneurship ecosystems, aiming to elevate the performance of Entrepreneurship Development Centers in alignment with national economic trends.
