Quality Assurance Unit
The Quality Unit at the University Centre of Maghnia is an organizational structure responsible for improving and ensuring the quality of educational and administrative processes and services within the institution. It works to enhance the trust of all stakeholders and achieve academic excellence
Based on the request of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), through the Quality Assurance Implementation Unit
The Quality in Higher Education (CIAQES), the University Centre of Maghnia established in 2011 a Quality Assurance Unit

Vision of the Quality Assurance Unit
During this semester, we aim to focus on the field of digitalization
The Quality Unit at the university, regarding digitalization, focuses on developing and enhancing the use of digital technology and computing in all aspects of university work. This aims to improve the experience of students, staff, and professors, and to enhance the quality of academic and administrative processes
Integration of technology in education: through the use of multimedia and digital resources to enhance interaction and engagement between students and academic content
Improving access to academic resources: students and researchers can benefit from articles, e-books, journals, and scientific training more quickly, efficiently, and at lower costs through the organization of training sessions within the centre
Facilitating communication and collaboration among students, professors, administrators, and researchers. E-participation and collaborative learning can enhance interaction and improve learning opportunities
Improving administrative processes at the centre: for example, digital student and human resources management systems can be used to enhance operational efficiency and provide better services to students, staff, and even alumni.

process improvement and quality enhancement, all in coordination with the Support and Pedagogical Performance Development Unit to implement
training programs, courses, and workshops to raise awareness of the quality culture and to develop the skills of the center’s members

What are the objectives of the Quality Assurance Unit ?
Integration of digital tools and resources
Integrating digital tools and resources, and optimally using artificial intelligence in study programs and administrative work, ensuring they support educational objectives and meet the needs of students, professors, and staff, thereby increasing the center’s visibility.
Ensuring the quality of digital content
Ensuring the quality of digital content: the unit will ensure that this content is relevant, up-to-date, and compliant with educational standards, by developing and implementing quality standards and procedures for its design, publication, and evaluation.
Training and professional development
Training and professional development: the unit will provide resources, training, and support to help professors effectively integrate digital tools into their educational and administrative practices
Improving English proficiency through the training of research professors, within the framework of promoting the use of the English language
Research and innovation in the field of higher education digital transformation. It supports projects and initiatives aimed at improving the student learning experience through digital technology, and encourages collaboration with other institutions and partners to promote best practices

Activities of the Quality Assurance Unit
Developing and establishing policies and procedures aimed at achieving the highest levels of quality at the center. Standards and guidelines to be followed in all aspects of academic and administrative work are defined.
Evaluating the academic programs offered at
the centre: the curricula are analyzed
as well as the learning objectives and teaching methods.

Monitoring and evaluating quality to improve processes and procedures when necessary.
Developing and promoting a culture of quality at the center by raising awareness among academic and administrative community members about the importance of quality and encouraging their participation in quality improvement efforts through field meetings and seminars
Developing capacities and providing continuous training and education for members of the academic and administrative community to strengthen capabilities in the field of quality assurance. Workshops, training courses, meetings, and seminars are organized, along with the provision of necessary resources to enhance awareness and skills
