Duties of the Director of the Central Library of the University Centre
The Director of the Central Library of the University Centre is responsible for the following:
– Proposing acquisition programs for references and academic documentation, in coordination with the institute libraries.
– Maintaining the catalog of postgraduate theses and dissertations.
– Organizing the library’s documentary collection using appropriate cataloging and classification methods, and updating its inventory.
– Assisting the institute library officers in managing the structures under their supervision.
– Establishing appropriate conditions for the use of the library collection by students and faculty, and assisting them in their bibliographic research.
The Director of the Central Library of the University Centre is assisted by:
– Head of Acquisition and Processing Service
– Head of Bibliographic Research Service
– Head of Guidance Service
