Scientific Seminar organized by the Supervision Cell, titled: 'University Culture and Building Creative Sense in First-Year Students
This morning, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Maghnia University Center hosted a scientific seminar organized by the Supervision Cell at "Ammar Belahcene" Hall. The seminar, titled "University Culture and Building Creative Awareness in First-Year Students," was attended by numerous professors, students, and Master's students belonging to the Supervision Cell.
The seminar was specifically designed for first-year students as part of the Supervision Cell’s ongoing efforts to mentor new students at the beginning of their academic journey. The focus was on:
-Guiding students toward a smooth integration into university life.
-Helping students discover their intellectual and creative potential.
-Encouraging participation in cultural and scientific activities to build academic character and initiative.
Dr. BOURICHE Ahmed, Head of the Supervision Cell, delivered the opening speech. He welcomed the attendees and emphasized that such scientific meetings are vital platforms for communication and mentorship. He highlighted the Cell's role in supporting students to uncover and develop their latent talents, stating:

The seminar featured two primary scientific presentations:
1-Professor MOUSS Nadjia: Discussed "Building the University Student’s Personality." She emphasized the importance of self-awareness and understanding personal potential. She also offered a motivational perspective, noting that failure is not the end but a learning experience to build confidence and willpower.
2-Professor MELIH Faiza: Focused on the "Importance of Planning and Investing Personal Potential" as a gateway to academic success. She addressed the psychological aspects of student life, stressing that success requires perseverance and that setbacks are often natural steps toward excellence.
The event included speeches from several talented students discovered by the Supervision Cell. They shared their personal experiences in student activities and discussed how such initiatives motivated them to showcase their creative energy and participate effectively in campus life.
The seminar concluded with an open discussion session. The students engaged remarkably well, raising insightful questions and contributions. The atmosphere reflected the significance of these gatherings in fostering a rich university culture and nurturing the creative sense of the student body.
