Digital Integration as a Path for Institutional Development: From Initiative to Sustainability

Invitation to Participate

The rapid evolution of digital technologies—including digital platforms, artificial intelligence, data-driven automation and innovation, as well as augmented and virtual reality—is driving profound transformations for both industries and institutions. Much like previous industrial revolutions, the current digital revolution is reshaping how we live, work, and interact, creating new opportunities for growth and performance enhancement, while simultaneously posing significant organizational and institutional challenges.

Often, enthusiastic digital initiatives fail to achieve their set objectives due to the lack of a clear vision for institutional sustainability or weaknesses in managing technological projects. Institutions face significant challenges in translating digital initiatives into genuine paths for organizational development. Frequently, isolated digital projects are implemented without being linked to a clear strategic vision, resulting in minimal institutional impact and the impossibility of achieving sustainable digital outcomes. This situation highlights a structural flaw in how digitalization is understood and implemented within organizations, where governance mechanisms are absent, and concepts such as digital leadership and functional integration remain limited in effect. Overcoming this situation requires a comprehensive review of the digital transformation framework, including business models, change strategies, and impact measurement methods, to make digitalization an effective path for restructuring institutions toward efficiency and sustainability.

In this context, the “Laboratory for Evaluation and Foresight of Economic Policies and Institutional Strategies” at the University Center of Maghnia is honored to organize the First National Forum on Economics, Finance, and Business Management, under the theme: “Digital Integration as a Path for Institutional Development: From Initiative to Sustainability.”
The National Forum on “Digital Integration as a Path for Institutional Development: From Initiative to Sustainability” serves as a fertile space for collective reflection on ways to steer innovation toward effective and sustainable digital integration. It is also a leading platform to deepen understanding of this digital transformation and its crucial role in shaping the desired future of institutions.
